Project: Materialistic Logo and Brand Strategy Client: Materialistic Date: May 2011 The logo and brand strategy for Materialistic attempts to ameliorate the disparate nature of their business. That is, the overlapping frames and colour palette signify the film industry blue and green screens Materialistic rents. Yet the fluidity of the forms abstract the logo enough to provide it with the versatility necessary to apply to its secondary business of Yoga (these shapes could also be Yoga mats). The type choice gives an accessible, yet “tech” feeling to Materialistic as befits their image.

Project: four minutes and thirty-two seconds past three pm until five minutes and thirty-two seconds past three pm september twenty-seventh two thousand and three
Client: Self
Date: September 2003
This conceptual website was designed to identify the impermanence of maps. That is, it de-emphasizes their spatial importance, instead laying the focus on a chronology of events within an alloted time frame. In the case of this project, I chose a single minute (60 seconds) to depict in a fixed space - namely, the stretch of St. Laurent between St. Catherine and Rene Levesque in Montreal. The ‘chronology of events’ is represented by the interactions and influences of individual people within this fixed space.
